High ratings compelled me buy this but I was disappointed. Basically a really good player talks of his coaching system of numbering height over net and topspin to produce depth. Maybe simpler than he makes it seem in the book. He also talks of how he teaches someone to topspin in one quick lesson. He also compares this to his new passion: learning to sing at an advanced age.I have no doubt this guy can coach and clearly is a very good player. But conveying this in a book that really helped me as a player was less than I had hoped. Buy at your own risk.

This is an amazing book! I took the simple instruction from the book and
applied it on the court and had immediate results. I had my son read it and he
improved right away. Finally a simple system that I can understand and use. The writer has laid out a beautiful path for my strokes, topspin, shot selection and my mental game. This is not just another tennis book - this is special. Great for all levels If you want to learn and love a fascinating story this one is for you.

Oh, my gosh! What an amazing system the author developed for improving one's game! I showed the book to my tennis coach and he was blown away. He started helping me using Eric Sage's 1 Thru 10 System and it totally changed my game. I have read so many different tennis books through the years, and nothing improved my game like The Magic Key to Tennis.
The story was also amazing on how he followed his dreams. Very touching!
