I love this book and re-read it all the time. It is one of my favorites. I give this book ,5 stars. This probably has a lot to do with Matt. Matt is the kind of guy you could only hope and dream about. Even though he does something some people might not like, it does not lessen what you think of him. Another person's review referred to it as "the end justifies the means". You just could not ask for a better guy. Kaitlyn does come off as either dim witted or naive at times. She is a sweet person though. I didn't find the book boring, and would recommend it.
Something I do like about Norah Hess is she likes to have someone else get married as well. Usually it is some of the other really nice characters who are deserving. This time she marries off the old spinster Maybelle who is not nice. She starts becoming more of a likable character than. She is not as mean spirited.

How did Nate get his house. Too questions left at the end. Not Norah Hess's best effort. Liked Hattie and Peter.
Really enjoyed this book
I usually don't like books that he loves her, she loves him but they fight it and can't seem to get together. This was better than that scenario.
This could have been a great book, but it had waaay too much explicit sex scenes in it! I really liked the plot, but the deliivery was not so good. Ms. Hess you really did not need to put all of Nate's depravity and Matt's sex scenes in the storyline! Please, leave that to each individual's imagination! And, what in the world were you thinking letting Matt "spoiler alert" sneak in that girl's room and then make her so stupid she could not tell the differ between the two men? Come on, Matt was described as big and muscular with shoulder length hair. I think most women can tell the difference between Nate and Matt, even in the dark! Really, Nora?! You need to rewrite this story!
Lively. This book really held my attention. It was a sweet love story.The characters were welled subscriber's the story was well written. I couldn't put it down for long.
I was all the way up to chapter 9 and the couple had barely spoken or seen each other. A lot of story telling about other characters that didn't matter. Does not seem like the same author from mountain rose.
I think it was a good book. I didn't like that Kaitlin's blind spot was too wide. I would have dumped him as soon as Nate mistreated his horse. That is a huge indicator to his personality. I also didn't like that Matt snuck into her room to make love with her, causing her to believe that he was Nate. Other than that it was a good book. Matt is so obviously better than Nate. She picked Nate because she couldn't look past a pretty face.
